After ruling, abortions rise in some states

A new study estimates that in the months after the U.S. Supreme Court removed federal abortion protections, 6% fewer abortions were performed nationwide. Many states bordering those with abortion restrictions saw an uptick in demand for the procedure in August compared with April.
