Fewer Dems want Biden to run again

A new AP-NORC poll finds just 37% of Democrats say President Joe Biden should run for reelection in 2024, down from 52% in October. The decline is concentrated among younger Democrats.

Results are based on a survey of 462 Democrats conducted Jan. 26-30, 2023. The margin of error is 6.5 percentage points for the full sample, higher for subgroups. Source: AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research
