Only half in US very confident in vote count

A new AP-NORC poll shows most U.S. adults have at least some confidence that votes in the 2022 midterm elections will be counted accurately, but only about half have a lot of confidence. Democrats are roughly three times as likely as Republicans to have a lot of confidence.

Results based on survey of 1,121 U.S. adults conducted Oct. 6-10, 2022. The margin of sampling error is ±3.8 percentage points for the full sample.
